BROOKS ELLIS

My jOurney

Meet Brooks Ellis, born in Dallas, TX.  Raised in Fayetteville, AR.

In high school, he earned the 7A Sophomore Defensive Player of the Year in 2010, Defensive Player of the Year in 2011, and co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2012, with two state championships and the Brandon Burlsworth Player of the Game in 2011.

After receiving many Power 5 offers from Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, and more, he decided to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, David Lashley, and stay home to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks in the highly esteemed Southeastern Conference.

He immediately earned playing time, starting on special teams and started the last four games of his freshman year at middle linebacker. Four years later, he became a 2x Team Captain and 2x Academic All-American while studying Pre-Medicine, putting himself in a position to go to the NFL.

In 2017, after attending the NFL combine, he joined the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent and later joined the Jacksonville Jaguars on their practice team.

Unfortunately, his football career ended with a concussion in 2018, but he will never regret or forget the years of hard work and determination that resulted in a stint in the NFL.

Football teaches you the most valuable life lessons, such as how to battle through adversity, work together with players from all walks of life, and the art of practicing discipline giving you ultimate freedom, all critical attributes in life after football.

Brooks loves Jesus and has learned that God’s purpose for him is to coach young athletes, helping them build a relationship with God and realize the infinite potential that lies within them.

Having success in football is much more than being gifted with athleticism. It requires mental fortitude, grit, leadership, and a fierce commitment to glorifying God in every step of the treacherous journey.

Values

Faith

God is the center of his life and the reason for all the blessings that have occurred. HE leads the way in every action and Brooks hopes to lead people to Christ through his coaching. Belief, or full commitment, to God's direction, is the only way to achieving your greatest happiness and fullest potential in life.

perserverance

Warriors and fierce competitors are not born without overcoming challenges or obstacles. To succeed in football, and in life, you must face these obstacles head on, knowing that failure is a valuable learning experience, and a sign that you're moving in the right direction.

Leadership

Leadership isn't being the loudest one in the group. It's doing what needs to be done when nobody else wants to because you know that's what's best for the team, yourself, and accomplishing your goals. Brooks aims to serve his clients with authenticity and compassion, building a strong relationship clients can rely on to take them to the top.

Aim High. Elevate Your Game.

When you believe in God, you trust that His plan is maximizing your potential which is achieving His purpose for you on earth.

He wants you to be the best you can be. Through Him, you can feel more alive, confident, energized, and full of vitality.
